Default Looking for early 5 speed service training manual

Anybody know where I can find this?

The CD set has a document that covers G-28 after change to Borg Warner synchros.

It says to refer to earlier service training manuals for information on all earlier boxes. I sure could use this document.

"Porsche 928 Service Information", Number 4582.21, covers the entire first model 928, including about thirty pages on the five-speed transmission (no info on the automatic). I don't remember whether that is in Jim's CD's or not.

There is a thread here on rennlist from about a year ago that went into great detail with pictures etc on rebuilding I think a G28/05 transmission. Some of the images appear not to be hosted anymore, but some are and maybe it could be fixed.

WSM has best repair info what I have seen. It should be enough to fix both old and new style syncro boxes.

Ok, thanks, will study it again. I have early manuals and they seem sparse.

Found some good descriptive info in tech service info for 78.
