Default Cayman S wheels on a GT?

So, I was at the RTP, NC kaffee klatsch this morning and saw this very nice Cayman S with factory paint to match wheels.

It's not perfectly obvious in the photo, but only the insides of the spokes were painted...

First, will Cayman wheels fit a '91 GT?

And second, what do you think about the wheels on a 928? Would it look outlandish?

Yes, they should bolt right up without any issues. The offsets on the 987/997's are very 928 friendly. I know I've seen someone on the list running these wheels on their 928. While not the same size as the ones you're looking at, the wheels on my GT came off a Cayman and work great. No spacers, just mount 'em up and run.

I would install these in a heartbeat. there's a few pictures of them installed on a moss green car at the Texas OCIC. i have an 83s in rauchquartzmetallic and i'm seriously considering these wheels refinished to match the bronze/gold manhole originals. i think they really complement the simplicity of the 928. can't go wrong IMHO.

Yup... that's Richard M's car. I can vouch that they look awesome.

Not sure if this car is a GT, but I think they fit without spacers.

Are those 18" or 19" Caymans?

Here's a nice OEM set with new tires (better front offset).
