So Afshin- This is a car that deserves to be advertised nationally in the places where real collectors are going to see it. Since I've never had a car worthy of such exposure, I don't know where I'd put it - Hemmings? Collectorcartraderonline? SCM? Panorama? Excellence? DuPont? Robb? Ebay (with an absurd reserve, merely as a starting point for contacts?) Consignment with Willhoit? (Not sure whether he does/would do it)

What's the best exposure for this kind of niche car? Thoughts? Chuck?

Rob I'm planning on putting it on ebay tomorrow with a high reserve. I may also put it on Hemmings or similar but I think Ebay will provide the best exposure.

I know you know but you can NEVER get "caught" in the rain with one of those.... Great looking car, the dealer here has a black/black one.

eBay is great advertising, run auctions over and over (I've run 7/8 auctions on the same car b/f and always get people who see it for the first time); don't listen to those that will give you a hard time if it doesn't sell the first few auctions. The right person has to see it and EVERYONE doesn't necessarily see the first auction or the second or the third....... Don't waste your time/money on Hemmings go with eBay, Autotrader and cars.com. Anyone looking will for sure look in one of those places. Good luck.

Big +1

This car is truly one of a kind and I hope it lands in good hands - a steward willing and able to maintain it to the level it deserves. In other words, I hope it lands with another Afshin.

I've only seen the owner in person...

Seriously, this is one stunning 928, and needs to go to someone who will treat it as a historic artifact representing how these could be optioned out.

I hope it won't ever be used as a daily driver.
