I must not be good at searching, but I'm trying to find a list of pictures of the fuel hoses to change. I bought Roger's kit and want to change them out, but I'm not sure where they are all located. Is there a good fuel hose replacement listing somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

there are 5 of them.
first disconnect the battery
then remove the aircleaner top/ bottom
Then loosen the fuel cap
With a handfull of rags put them under the feed line at the front of the right cam cover you can either remove this whole line or rather just carefully cut the hose and fit the new hose,
you can use Alcohol to lube the lines so they will slide ,
orient the clamps so they wont rub on other parts and are easily retightened at a later date.
The center hose is a factory part and goes under the oil fill spout,
again with the rags make sure to counterhold any line that you are wrenching on .
I suggest to add a dab of antiseize to the threaded portions so the lines can be removed in 20 years
the other 3 lines are at the rear of the engine it will be helpful to remove the MAF you can leave the wires connected if your careful set the MAF on a rag on the intake then you will see the rear lines a U shaped line and one to the fuel cooler and one to rear Fuel pressure regulator.

after the rags have gas on them throw them out in the sun and they will ready for more soaking up fuel in a few minutes.
Again align the clamps so they can be tightened in place and wont rub on other parts.
after all of the lines are on,
insert the MAF and start the car keep a fire extinguisher handy , start the car out of a building if possible. check for leaks then install the aircleaner and take a drive.
also a good time to replace the old heater control valve and the short hose

I changed the hoses on my 88 S4 and only found 4 hoses. Here are pictures of them. There was one in the front on the oil filler neck. One next to the passenger side valve cover. Two in the back behind the MAF. One connected between the two regulators and the other from the fuel cooler to the front of the left regulator. That was all I could find.

On the 88 there are only the four. In your last pic the Fuel Damper has a metal U pipe to the fuel cooler. In previous years this was hose also (hence #5). Nice work!

Nicely done. I can't tell really well from the pics (b/c I am reading on my mobile) but it looks like you may need to trim the top of the black nipple on the fuel pressure gauge. Double check instructions to see if you need to if just installed.

Dave, you have a keen eye. I finished that part late last night and wanted to wait until morning to trim the top of the black nipple. You are right though. According to instructions, it does need to be trimmed.

Did call Roger and he said the 88 did only have 4 hoses. Now will jump the fuel pump relay to check for leaks.

Just snip the top of the little nipple as that is all that is needed.

Sounds like you are in good shape. BTW, Sweet looking color / wheels combo on your 928.
