I find enlightenment in the 928
and everything about it is perfect, as I embrace the Zen
That's it.
oh, and the mirror designer is a deity too.

If you don't like a tightly engineered engine bay, buy a ford focus or a ford van with the V8.
Alternatively if you need lots of room, buy a old domestic, just don't plan on turning or stopping quick!

It is far better than many as far as access.
Try a TT300ZX, you can open the hood and throw a double handful of 1/4" sockets in there and not one will hit the ground.

I would like to have a TT300ZX some day too...but you are right Greg, there is NO ROOM under that hood.
WhiteNSX, I love your avatar. Man that is a great pic and that car does look very nice in white! We have a red targa in the 'hood here...that looks good too. I prefer the older models w/ the pop up headlights. I would love to have an NSX some day as well!

Imre: No, why? Do you think I would want to exacerbate the pain?
Colin: I have a '69 Mach I. It doesn't even have an attachment point for a DMM, but thanks for the hot tip.
Steve: Ever taken one apart- not by design- and put it back together?
Herman: my problem are the mechanical fittings once the ring is off.
Imre: try to follow along
Greg: That is faint praise.
James: Wrong thread.

It is just a matter of time and tools, no harder than anything else.

it could be worse,
you should try putting a clutch in a 951 and replacing the balance shaft seals

You are kidding right?
at 54 and after 41 years of this crap, yea I have a few.
Maybe I have been doing it for so long I no longer get angry at a thing, just myself.
I spent four hours yesterday to find a 911 was out of gas, top that one.
EDIT: I did have fuel flow out of the pump and it read 2/3 of a tank, it just did not have enough to run a CIS.
I hate the moral aspect of it, the customer had diagnosed the car, just told me to put a fuel pump in it that he supplied!! (first mistake) so do i charge him the time it took or just for R&R the pump and book rate of 2 hours for CIS diagnosis?
Or just say, man it was out of gas, you need a new sender. (which after turning upside down and cleaning now works)
