Default spa racing/fuel tank

hi guys im racing at spa next weekend in our gts race car, the last two times ive raced there the races have been shorter than next wk
. how many litres does the gts fuel tank hold, i never have to fill it as our races are usually 30-40mins and im worried the tank wont do 61 minutes as it was was close to empty at 50 minutes from my memory at spa in 2008. i will post some pics from the track next wk. thanks in advance

Be aware also that you can suffer from fuel starvation as the tank approaches empty... there are a couple of corners on Nurburgring where at 1/4 tank I can suffer from a second or two of fuel starvation as I exit the corner....

Could be an issue related just to my car.... so just an FYI... YMMV...

(I will be fitting a new fuel strainer, adding some fuel cell foam to the tank pick-up area and installing an '044' pump this summer to see if that resovles the issue)

Hi Mark.

Wish I can join the fun at Spa, but I don't have enough signatures on my license yet! Good luck and show that pesky 911 who is boss, please! See you at Cadwell.

thats a shame alex, if the car gets to the end im feeling confident. i won 3 out of the last 4 times ive raced here, the last race i was 3rd when the windscreen steamed up in the rain. im atcastle combe with the gt2 when you are at cadwell. ill see you later in the year though.

thanks mark
