Default 1979 4.5L engine for sale!!!

I have a 1979 4.5L USA engine for sale! I am not 100% sure of the mileage, but it is north of 160k. It last ran in late 2008. Oil looked great and I inspected the bottom end, with excellent rod bearings showing virtually no wear. See the pics below. I also cleaned the oil pan (I was thinking about using it, but used a different one) so it does come with the "OB style oil pan that is FAR superior to the later "S4" style that is prone to destroying engines. After inspecting the bearings I checked the leak down (cold engine) with these results!

1: 5% 5: 5%
2: 6% 6: 7%
3: 9% 7: 9%
4: 8% 8: 6%

I'd say a 4% variance in a cold engine is pretty good...the bores also looked very smooth, with no scratches I could see.

Since the engine is quite heavy I would prefer local pickup and the engine is located in West Sacramento CA... There is an engine hoist at the location to assist with putting in in a truck.

Price: $500 OBO....

There is a picture of the engine in this thread from when I 1st tested it'

This is worth the price on the cams alone. They are stronger than the '80 to -82 ones. I found that out the hard way.
