Default Caliper Identification

Friend drags me to a auction at a former import shop where everything must go before building is sold. Everyone is there for tools and equipment. Not much interest in the parts like transmissions, heads, blocks, its all going to scrap. Before the auction begins I look around and see a box with four porsche calipers, there black with the Brembo emblem on the backside. Only one other person bids on them and I win with a $100.00 dollar bid. I think there 993 calipers but not sure. Each has the num 94 in a circle and ID#s 20.4672.02, 20.4673.00, 20.4565.00, and 20.4564.00. Those are the ony numbers on the calipers, can anyone confirm what they?

More chatter here with same part numbers:

Here are some for sale on the VW board (part numbers in post 16 with photos in post 5)

The photo appears to be 944 Turbo calipers

Yet another thread mentioning similar part numbers:

Tha calipers are 11" long front with 40mm & 33mm pistons, rear 9.5" long with 28mm & 30mm pistons. They look just like the red 993 calipers I see on ebay, mine are just black. Thinking of sending message to ebay seller for ID# on their calipers.

In any case they're not 928 calipers. Might want to try the 993 forum.

Thanks for the suggestion. Typed 993 calipoers in that search this forum, and found "newly painted & rebuilt red 993 calipers". The guy has numerous close up pictures that show ID#s. I've got a front and rear set of 993 calipers. Bit more work changing out the spindles on my 85, but a great find!
