MY 82 bosch fuel injector connector rebuild question (technical)
Yikes
A bloody knuckled no0b needing some clarification
I'm rebuilding my crumbled bosch fuel injection connections --
I ordered [10] bosch 2 wire connectors with boots and innards
Ok #1 cylinder
So I cut back the old boot, used a sharpie to identify the red/ grey wires on the connector and destroyed the old fitting (who cares right? I've got [10] brand new ones)
Cut off the old wiring connector and put on the new, followed by the boot -clips into place beautiful (these have the new style metal push clips)
Sweet -right?
Well how come cylinders #2,3,4 and 5, 6,7,8 all have the red wire different than cylinder # 1
I have not looked at the manuals yet -because it'll take me a day and half to find the right page ,then it'll take me forever to figure out the wiring diagram
Does it matter -or did I screw up?

its OK to hook the wires up either way, the injectors will still work,
carry on!
