Show me your powder coated s4 intake and valve covers.
Hi guys,
I have just purchased an 88 S4 that will be needing an intake R&R. I would love to see what you guys have done to brighten up your engine compartments. I would even like to see some results of them being painted with high heat paint if anyone has goine that route. Also, to this point, wasn't there someone on this list who was offering a powder coating exchange service?
Thanks,

If you're going to Powder coat the intake and cam covers, make sure you do the water bridge and the elbow to the thermostat - makes a big difference.

Burning Brakes
I painted mine a few years ago. Epoxy primer followed by base/clear. Still holding up very well without yellowing. The cam covers look good, but if you hit them a few times (with tools etc) the clear will chip. Nothing wrong with paint, but PC will be much more durable over the long haul. Just my .02! Great thread!
