Fuel lines are replaced in the 86.5 and I am trying to pressurize the system.
I am confused as to which relay is for the fuel pump.
The layout for the fuse / relay panel indicates relay XVII but the wiring diagram suggests XX.
Also, should I remove the cap and bleed the system or just let it pressurize?
All pointers appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Mine is XX or fourth to the left of the upper right hand corner, but I have an 87. The 928 Specialists website has the proper diagrams. Don't forget to count vacant slots.
You can jumper the relay or just start cranking. The system will pressurize and fill itself in about 10 or 15 seconds. Best done with a helper... one to keep an eye on the connections checking for leaks.

I have made up a lead for jumping the pump relay so that I can be out front in the engine bay to catch any leaks quickly. 2 core flex long enough to reach from fuse board to engine bay, male spade tags for the relay socket on one end, switch on the other end.
