Default brake calipers did not have boots!

Well the surprises keep coming. I broke down the front brake calipers tonight and to my surprise neither of the front calipers had dust boots. The pistons don't look pad and the inside of the caliper piston sleve looks fine with the exception of some pitting near the bottom.

Plan is to get some rebuild kits from Roger. Any thoughts about what else I should be concerned about or do as part of the rebuild?

Thanks

Pistons slid out easily with a bit of air pressure and looked pretty clean so I think I should be okay.

Rebuilding all four pistons was the first thing I had to do to my 928(as they were all seized), I just ordered a new seals and boot kit, sanded the rust(if you have any) with extreme fine grit wet-sanding paper(like 2000 grit), lube everything with brake fluid, and mount together. Mine had quite a bit of rust in them, but they all became perfect after rebuild Just hope it lasts.
