Being able to physically cut the key and ending up with a key that works in all the locks are different things.

I like to use a keycase, rather than have a chain of loose keys slicing holes into my pockets. And regarding keys with that lovely Porsche insignia on 'em, there's a potential theft problem. I had Keys4classics make me several sets of the Silca keys, cut the top edges off and drilled a hole in the black plastic part closer to the cut section of the key so the keys will fit into my keycase. The red top key from Huf actually has an entire key head inside, not just a blade. You can rip the red cover off, drill a hole in the key and that will also fit into an old Buxton keycase if you're willing to forego the alarm function or do not use it. Why a key with no logo? Simple, really. If you lose your keys there aren't going to be a whole lot of Porsches around for a potential thief to try to fit your lost keys into, basically all he has to do is take a quick spin through the parking lot, and your car is basically gone. I thought about that very carefully, because I work at an inner city hospital. I've only lost my keys twice in my lifetime, but once would be all it takes. Of course, if you're going to some type of Porsche convention somewhere, losing fancy Porsche logo keys wouldn't be much of a problem. BTW, the slim blade for the master key fits nicely into the flimsy plastic card holder in a wallet, for those of you who like to have a spare with you 'just in case'. To drill holes in these keys, a carbide bit works very well.

The keys came back from down under. I was out of town for a couple of weeks, but I think it only took about a week total turnaround time.
They work perfectly. And cut from mediocre photos of a worn key, even. Highly recommended!
