Any mechanic that really loves the 928 is going to be in Banner Elk on the Fifth, I can not help you on that date.

Saturdays are a problem with most good mechanics, if they are very good they do not have to work on Saturday, and a good PPI is work, and more than a little of it.

Sorry I can not help on that date.

John,

I replied to your message. I can meet you tomorrow morning for a quick test drive or Sunday morning. Why don't you come to SITM? We can do some spirited driving (within speed limit DR, heheh) in the mountains.

That car sounds like it is mechanically sound but the history of two accidents and probably full respray 18 years ago that is showing signs of wear with similar aged interior issues (minor) makes the $12k asking price pretty high in my esitmation an 89 S4.

If one were handy with a spray gun and could also update the interior might be an interesting buy for a bit less.
