Default 928 s4 hood

Does anyone have troubles with there hood closing. My car hood is very tough to close. The hood opens with a lot of force and it takes some grunts to close the thing.

I am used to hoods never staying up unless they have a broom stick. Seriously the hood near the windshield looks a little higher than it should. I have not had a minute to view the actual problem.

Any thoughts

That's not right , perhaps your hinges are in need of some lube .

you probably have the wrong shocks open your hood to test them,
remove one and try pressing it into the floor ,
if you can do it with one hand then you have a hood shock if it takes two hands to hold the shock then you have a hatch shock .
Note the hood shock supply 35 pounds of force and the hatch shocks supply 100 pounds .
If you dont fit the correct shocks you can end up with broken ball studs or a bent hood

I oiled the hinges and it seems to be good for now. I need to compare my car to another one and see if there is a difference.

thanks guys
