Default How was the under body treated?

Since the 928 body was galvanized what sort of protection was used under the car in the early 78/79 years. Did they just spray it the same color, was some sort of noise absorbing liquid applied? was it painted black or body color?
Or did the dealer apply rust proofing material according to the area (north east, midwest, California etc.)or where ever the dealer was located?

The bottom of the rocker panels under the doors had a sticker...it has a part number in the PET. The bottom of the car looks like a blown on treatment.

They have a very tough rubberized coating which was factory applied. It is very effective and seldom do you see any corrosion under the car. Now the back of the deck lid and around the 1/4 window lower trim you see some.

Was that rubberized coating painted the cars color, or black, or grey?

Mine is a tan color up in the TT area, but they paint over w/the car color in the more visible areas like wheel wells.
