Mercedes '047 CIS injectors - Opinions?
Hi
I see a number of folk have replaced their standard 0437502012 (928 110 225 00) CIS injectors with the Mercedes 0437502047 injectors.
What effect, if any, has this had on the running of the vehicle?
Any change in performance/fuel economy?
Has anyone been running the '047's for some time and got anything to report back?
I guess most have gone with these as their car was already poorly, so a change to new '047's is going to make a dramatic difference anyway.
Just interested to know whether there are any down sides to using these merc injectors?
Is it a complete no brainer to use these '047 injectors or is it worth trying to restore the original '012 ones?
I notice that the '047 injector is much shorter than the original, this must have some effect on the inlet tract?

FWIW, the only other application of 0437 502 012 I know of was the Peugeot 505 ,which are probably fairly rare outside Europe? I put 4 new 012's in mine ~12k miles ago, with the other 4 flushed, and have no issues with them. Maybe I should put the old 4 in some solvent to soak just in case they clean up.
