I was just working on mine last night. Made a kind of jig for pushing the new bearing in. Used my long half inch ratchet. Hit the damn windshield one time and it broke. Can't believe such a stupid mistake. I post here as just a warning, It doesn't take much.

Good luck with your replacement. I can't wait to see how you get the new one in without the special tool.
