UK GTS for sale ?
How does this compare to you guys in the US for value.., it,s approximately $16,000 dollars.., or £10,000 UK.
Why it caught my attention was the colour " Amethyst" which I think is the best 928 colour ever ?

NICE looking car! This car is about $10k USD cheaper than it would be in the US I would think... It is probably close to Big's car (if it is as well cared for, which would be tough to do!)

If that car was in the U.S. I'd have it! Fantastic rare color and it looks just perfect with the Linen and Rootwood contrasting the color to sample (match) Amethyst dash/pod/door panels. I love the off color 928's.

Rootwood alone was a $5k option IIRC.
Awesome car and the colour is very special.

Amethyst and magenta isn't that rare in ROW cars. There are at least 10 GTS with amethyst paint and several with amethyst/magenta combo. We have two amethyst GTS and one amethyst/full magenta '91 S4 in Finland alone. Wood is rarer option that those colors.

rootwood interior - but!!
I agree - beautiful color combination, and a great value, especially with the CURRENT exchange rate (just returned from a layover at Heathrow 2 nights ago).
But, it doesn't have the rootwood "T" shifter - Ha! That was another ~$550 according to the window sticker on my GTS. (By the way, I have one of these and would sell it if someone REALLY wants one).
Cheers,
Gary Knox

Erkka, I was thinking the same thing...you NEVER see that color on a US car, but there are MANY ROW's in that color. I bet I ran across 3 or 4 of them for sale over the 2 or 3 years I was following moblie.de regularly back in the early '00's. Certainly not uncommon. Same for the light green metallic (and the dark greens too for that matter)...pretty common, at least compared to US GTS's.
