Default Electrical Symbols

A free database of electrical symbols...

"Frustrated by the difficulty of searching schematic symbols through long lists with little information led to the creation of Electrical What !?, a database of electronic components.

Electrical What !? displays all electronic components in a easily scanable and cataloged format. However what truly sets Electrical What !? apart from your average reference book is the ability to search by appearance.

Using these tools Electrical What !? hopes to make looking for electronic symbols a breeze. "

Thanks Wally! I bookmarked this URL. Trying to figure out the wiring in Vol 1a last night really had me scratching my head. For mechanics who have done this, it's probably easy, but for a guy that never had a class on electronics in HS or college, "checking the continuity of pin x" or "charge the flux capacitor" all seem kind of abstract

Thanks, Wally, this is great,

But I have a display problem: the written titles of the category, the ones that appear below the visual representation, are partially cut off. The bottom of the lower line is cut off, showing only the tops of the letters, rendering the line unreadable.

This may have to do with my settings in Firefox and Safari but both browsers are set to "allow pages to choose their own fonts" and I have "+'ed" and "-'ed" the display size and changed my resolution without affecting the problem.

Is this a coding issue at their end or am I doing something wrong? (I realize the latter is a nearly infinite open set. ;-)

Hi Wally - I've been trying to get ahold of you for a couple of electrical questions. Not sure if you got my messages. When's a good time to call, and what number is best (not sure if you get the messages left with 928 spec).
