You mean a part Roger is producing that is a copy of the original?
I do not recall Roger ever claiming he designed that part for Porsche back in the 70's nor has he ever claimed he owns the rights to it.
Granted I'll buy the part from Roger or any other Rennlist vendor, that doesn't mean these vendors have the sole rights to produce and sell these parts.
I'm starting to agree with others that you have a leaking NOS nozzle in the cabin.

Is Roger selling a new version? I bought one of these a year ago from him and it quickly fell apart. Roger was great about it--he refunded the money and I ordered a new receiver. But I thought he gave up on selling these--or is there a newer version(?)

Peter in Thailand is my new supplier for these parts and so far I am very impressed with the product.
I have had one fitted in a well used (rear hatch that is) car for over two months with no adverse effects at all.
Very nice high quality injection molded parts.
I have 20 coming next week and they will sell for $28.50 each plus shipping.
I may have to start a waiting list for these 8>)
Well spotted Brett.

Hi Roger
I do not seem to be having much luck on here this evening lol....
The post was just meant to be informative for Roger...not a legal condemnation or opinion on anyone....either Peter or Roger...
Having bought two complete rear receivers for my 928 and another for my brothers 928, I am glad they are available as just that insert...

Wow - this is really heating up! I had no idea how many people were working on this in parallel. But as they say: Competition is good...
Today I received my first batch of these. Pricing is similar to Roger's:

Where's the list for one?
eBay's add say the hatch can't lock correctly without it... True? Is it because mine felt apart years ago that my hatch doesn't lock correctly and can be opened by forcing it?
