I'm nearing the end of the painting of my 81 and will start reassembly this weekend. I'm planning on reusing my quarter window seals because, well there expensive and mine are in good shape.
Anyone have any recommendations on cleaning/rejuvenating the rubber without damaging? I'm thinking about using the Meguiars stuff, anyone have good or bad luck with this stuff or maybe other suggestions?

I reused mine..cleaned them with silicone spray several times and soaked the hell out of them.
They have been fine since.

The rust around my quarters is getting pretty bad and I'm thinking about pulling them and getting rid of the rust over the winter. I pulled the quarter windows out of an Audi I had years ago with no problems. Are there any tricks to pulling them without damaging the seals?
