Default Computer model of 928 body

Does anyone have any sort of three-dimensional surface map of the 928? I would like to play with it in a CAD program or some other 3D visualization package, but I don't see the need to reinvent the wheel if someone already has it.

I'm interested specifically in the frontal section and how modifications change airflow patterns, etc, but before I go to the trouble of trying to generate an accurate rendering, I figure maybe I should see if the legwork has been done for me.

Thanks!

I just found this with a quick Google search. Can't vouch for accuracy or rendering:

Here's another and seems to have far more options.

Both require registration:

Wow, maybe I should have just googled it...I was hoping for an 87+, but frankly easy is better than accurate, at this stage.

Found a JPEG blueprint of a 928 GT. Would that work?

There've been a few threads about this in the last couple of years.

Here's one..
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...eys-unite.html

and another:

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-928-body.html

And a link lifted from one of them:

http://www-roc.inria.fr/gamma/downlo...me=porsche-928

Contacting the thread authors of those might be a good place to go - presumably they've already covered a lot of the generally searchable ground to find what's good/useable out there.

Here's another option. Download and run the free Google 3D modeling program called Sketchup 7. Click File, 3d Warehouse and search for "Porsche 928", there are two. They aren't scaled right but they are fun to play with.
