Default CPS cable length?

The OEM crank position sensor cable is much shorter than the new part recently received.

Is there any issues with using the longer cable? all connectors are same.

Mine too was longer and didn't caused any problem.
I think the longer one is a Volvo part and is a lot cheaper!
Everything worked just fine.

There is a generalized inference that longer is better: use it with quiet confidence .... and tie a knot in the excess if necessary

I've heard that too Garth..............very funny

The supplier has contacted me assuring the part is used in a large number of 928s with zero issues. Again the power of the 'list and our tremendous supply chain comes through.
