It seems to me that it's been a while since we've had a feel-good community free-to-good-home thread. So . . .

I've installed Roger's short shifter kit, and I'm giving away a 928 International short shift lever for 85-95 928s, part number SHIFT2, value new $85. Very few hours on it.

BUT there's a catch.

In order to get the short shifter, you have to give away something else of value, and someone else has to want it.

So, for example, you might say, "I'll take your short shifter if someone will take my widget." You don't get the shifter till person 2 says, "I'll take your widget if someone will take my gadget." Then I send you the shifter, and person 2, who wants your widget, doesn't get it until person 3 says, "I'll take your gadget if someone will take my whatsit."

If, after a reasonable time, nobody accepts the whatsit, then person 3 should offer something else or say "never mind" so that someone else can offer something for the gadget.

And so on and so forth for as long as it lasts. (No, the whole mess doesn't unwind when something isn't taken; the last person whose offer was accepted gets to keep his swag, and the first person whose offer was not accepted doesn't get any swag.)

I have an automatic, but I have a brand new blue air pump hose from the pump to the valve. Anyone want to do a trade up for it, post something else. It was for an 86.

I’d like to know why 928rus short shifter kit is superior to the offered gadget cuz I just may need to go straight to rog's place
