A loss in the family
I had picked up the gf from work and was heading home when not even 10 blocks from her work a lady decided to exit a parking lot making a left turn right in front of us. She pulled out when there was only around 10' between us.
I managed to hit the brakes, but no where to escape etc. smash.
I was travelling at 47kmph and moved the front of her vehicle roughly 8'
The front bumper cover, fender, hood, headlight, foglight, are all destroyed.
There is also visable bending in the front clip.
She did her job and protected the occupants very well.
The gf is very sore and went to the hospital to get checked out.
I was able to brace for it, and am completely fine with no real soreness etc.
So there is one less 1987 928S4 5 speed roaming the streets.
I think a moment of silence is in order.

The local insurance (gov run) company and they will write it off for sure.
For me it is cheaper to get another chassis, and do a swap of parts. Plus then I would end up with a lighter (early) chassis.
