Seems like the search function is still down. It has been days now. Any word when it will be fixed?
Didn't spot this until now.. you can also use this search term on google:

"intitle:<word from thread subject line>"

Very nice....I usually get some Rennlist results from a normal Google search too but this is much more efficient. Thanks indeed

If you add these terms to a search on Google, it limits the results to ones from this forum:

site:forums.rennlist.com inurl:928

Put just those into Google, then make a bookmark/favorite after searching - next time you want to search, open the bookmark/favorite, add keywords, and search. e.g. Put this into Google:

Euro rough idle K-jet site:forums.rennlist.com inurl:928

I've found that Google has some built-in substitutions and partial/related keyword matching which makes it more effective than the rennlist search function (You can make the rennlist search more effective using Advanced Search terms with boolean logic and whole phrases, but its a pain).

Anyway, enjoy
Don't think this works any longer. I copied-and-pasted your exact search into Google and got a 'no results' response. Used both Chrome and Firefox (Mac); not that that should have mattered.

Use the text string below followed by whatever term you want to search.

site:rennlist.com inurl:928

This.

Internet brands changed the server side - look at the URL in your browser window, it no longer has "forums" in front of the "rennlist.com".

site:rennlist.com inurl:928 is the correct form - I add a space to the end to allow me to paste

I put it in a macro button on the Chrome toolbar.

For clarification... while it seems silly, the search term must go AFTER the string.

Also, the OP has the wrong string. At least, it didn't work for me.

Correct:
site:rennlist.com inurl:928

Incorrect:
site:forums.rennlist.com inurl:928

PSA Bump.

How to search effectively. Go to google.com. In the search window enter this:

search-terms-go-here site:rennlist.com inurl:928

For example:
"fuel pump" site:rennlist.com inurl:928

or

search site:rennlist.com inurl:928

to find this thread.

And save it as a favorite with a space after the 928. Saves you from remembering to always start with a space.

I have been using the search tool and then choosing the "Google Results" tab on the left. Seems to return the same hits as the above method. In order to filter out non-928 related results I will type in "928 fuel pump" for example.

Probably has the same results except half of your results are ads?
