Interested in a 79 that needs some work as a possible trade? Yeah, that's what I thought!

She is a beauty!

I also noticed the S4 rear muffler. Some people just like the oval tip better, as it follows the opening in the rear bumper cover perfectly. And it's easy to change.

You know a car is nice when...
You post it for sale on rennlist, and people tell you it's worth more than you are asking for it!

No matter how well you try to match the colors, different materials and surface structures always vary under different lighting conditions. Flash really brings out the differences - remember the "pink" looking classic grey carpet?

You can also see this on 928s that have a combination of vinyl and leather in colors other than black, grey, or beige tones. There is nothing wrong with cars where you see this - it's just the way the materials are.

In order to minimize these differences Porsche is now much more picky with their material choice. If you visit the new museum, they even explain this in one of the videos presentations.

What is the button the the right of the fog light switch?
Rear carpet with GTS is aftermarket Lloyds or such.
Shame it's a 5 speed.

Don't flame me, actually flame away, but I don't understand why this car is so special.

It's not perfectly original, so those lunatics are not going loosen their purse strings. And a photo of the options sticker would be nice so we'd know what's factory original and what's hot rodded.

I don't mind well thought out modifications. However, then there's the price. As a car to just drive around and enjoy, how is this car in any way better than this car recently sold https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-5-speed.html?

95 is the last year sold, most covetted, 16k miles and 75k miles are different worlds.
93 is a known problem year, oldest of the GTS imported to US.

One is looking for a quick sale, one is looking for top dollar.

You can't compare a '95 GTS to ANYTHING other than an equal '95 GTS! Sorry last model year and VERY FEW imported to boot! This car is special from every angle... Low miles too, how can you beat this other than with LOWER miles? You can't! Hence $70k to $75k is probably not out of the question.
