with TK grounded I should have continuity from 31 to 31L.... correct?
Yes correct. Start here - then you know for sure if it works or not.

Also do the other test for the pin switches then you will know they work too.

ok results are..... relay is bad, however the used relay i purchased from 928int was delivered today and it is good!!! yea!!

however for my new/used relay's safety how can I test the CE Panel socket to ensure I don't burn up this new/used relay when i install it?

PAY-DIRT!!!! first performed bench test as specified above, original relay is indeed bad, I can confirm that I performed the bench test properly as I purchased a used relay and performed the same method of test to find the new/used relay working as it should with a delay after it was grounded, and I got continuity as I should have across the 31 /31L pins.

Also tested 31Z with door closed, ground was present
Also tested 15a with door closed, 12V was present

Installed new/ used relay and bada-bing interior lights are now working as they should!. Thanks so much guys, its nice being able to get into a well lit vehicle of an evening.

Hi Alan, do you mean there is switch on or near the hood latch in the front? Where is it located exactly?

Default S2 86.5 light relay

Good morning
I'm waking up this topic because it's my turn, I have a problem with this relay.
one of the components burned.
I want to replace this component but with combustion, the information is no longer readable.
If anyone could open theirs and tell me what the markings are, that would be very kind.
I'm talking about the component indicated by the green arrow:
Thank you.

Hi
i answer by myself.
It wasn’t readable because the smoke.
but i’d push it with my finger and it was more clean.
then, i can read, it is a bc373b transistor, darlington.
i will replace it now.

regards.
