Default Reservior hose with reducer

I am in the middle of replacing the hose of the reservior (that goes to the cooler) and its an aftermarket hose with a reducer. Should I reuse the reducer or not?

Thanks,
Gio

What cooler are you talking about? There are hoses from pump to res, and from res to rack. Don't know of any coolers in the circuit. Also, a pic would be good - as to the reducer, on the high pressure line, the hose does have a reducer in the middle of it, but you should not try to reuse that - I would not rebuild that hose if it is leaking, but get a new one. It is a bit expensive.

If its the one that goes to the nipple that used to have the crimp fitting on it, I am using some hydraulic hose and a clamp. Dwayne went that route on a write up a while ago and I am almost done. I will post if there are any issues. There is supposed to be little pressure on that line.

Same as Patrick here.

Linderpat, there is a PS cooler line that starts just underneath the reservoir and loops under, and in front of the radiator.

I am refering to the other hose that is about 10-12" long. The reducer looked like it did not belong there so I installed the new hose without the reducer.
