Okay, so I bit the bullet and ordered the Shark Tuner MK2. If anyone wants to get together (after it arrives) am happy to do some tuning if folks are willing to kick in a little coin to help messen the sting of this latest purchase.
Drop me a PM if you are interested.

Remember you will need a set of PEMs, a wide band O2 sensor and there are two different cables needed for the ST2 - one for the 87's and 88's, and one for the 89's +. And if the person does not want to use the PEMs long-term, you will also need a chip-burner. All told, I think I have about $1,500 into my STer, so it's not a small sum, to be sure.
I am working on a compete ST2 "kit" that will be available for rent this summer to anyone with an 87+. Just waiting on my plug-&-play WBO2 sensor solution. Haven't figured out rates yet, but my guess is somewhere around $250-$300 for a couple weeks.
