Default Hershey Swap Meet Any Pics?

I missed the event yesterday due to my Shark being down for some unexpected repairs. So how'd it go? Any reports? Love to see some pics.

The weather was perfect! We enjoyed. It was nice to see my friends there, and even a few returning visitors from last year with a years worth of car adventure tales.

Default 928's for sale at Hershey

There were LOTS of 928's for sale at the Swap Meet

Here is the one that got away...1981 928S Red/Cashmere
5 speed..LSD/ Comp package..79.000 miles ...3 owners....$ 6500.00

Kevin Michael said it had been repainted but done very well
No Rub Strips
Anodized manhole cover wheels
Sport seats
Custom Exhaust
Comp Steering Wheel
Great condition
Seller, Todd, was a Swap Meet volunteer
Almost was able to get it...sold to guy from NYC, just back from Iraq
with a bucket full of cash

Lots of others..mostly AT, high milers

Had a real good time up there, my 1st one
Got a nice large Halon Fire Ext. for the garage/truck.. cheap

Gary Knox's PRISTINE Black GTS came in SECOND in the Concours,
lost to a sh*t brown 924...unbelievable..

Drove up with Fraggle..and then never saw him til the very end of the day.

Hung out with Kevin Michael and his amazing 959 Clone , hand fabbed out of a 3.0 SC pics to follow..Daren Stonesifer from Harrisburg whom I met at VIR in March with PCA....John Lewis, the former PCA Potomac 928 model expert.

AND I even saw my 1st 928 in the parking lot, the red AT '88 and got to visit with Jerry for a few minutes...just walked by it til I checked out the pass. door for that one ding ..and there it was ....!!! Small Feakin' world , eh..??

Her are a few pics

Kind'ia wish i would have made the trip and tried to sell my 951 or made a possible trade with someone else.

Was the entire event DRY? Its been raining here in Indiana all the time. Just curious, but was the average asking price for a high mileage 5.0 liter 928?

thanks jpc

I was there all day..I had a great time. Met a lot of new people. First year as an actual vendor and sales were great. A must for next year.

I was sorry I did not have a lot of time being a vendor to rummage through an take a through look at everything.

Prices were anywhere from $3400.00 for a AT 84 S to 14-16k for real nice S4

Nothing super ..out of the ordinary...lots in the middle...

It was dry and mostly sunny all day..See ya next year...!!

Every year i consider going and always have something to do. This year i had nothing, but watching it rain outside. I missed my ticket to GO! rats!!!!

Seems like it would have been a great opportunity to sell and buy.

I have gone 3 times over the last 10 years or so and have never seen so many p cars as this year. There was a V10 silver spyder that drew quite a crowd when he fired it up. Sounded like a formula one car.

just picked up a 84 928 and it runs well i just noticed a 'apparent' trans leak while putting back in garage, previous owner inherited car and did not drive for 2yrs, bought new battery ,put new sparks plugs in then check idle , smoke for about a min or two, then purrs, now in a little worried about this trans oil issue, its dripping on a little housing near rear as best i can see, any help with my new toy i would appreciate(im in philly if there are any side helpers) as i am trying to maintain this with knowlegde and little money)lol
