It,s strange because last year I was thinking about fitting bumperettes, because here in the UK they were never fitted on any 928,s. I never really liked them, but as they say they grew on me. And after seeing your cars with them fitted, I had to have some.
I think it adds a nice feature/detail to the back-end ?
Ed ( Linderpat) kindly arranged to send me a pair, since I fitted them everyone that sees the car with them on thinks they look great !!
No accounting for different tastes I suppose .

Save yourself some time/money and just start with a black 928.

Ken,

We all like what we don't have don't we?! That is why I have my cars BOTH ways! LOL!

Speedtoys...

Well, a Sheriff (a couple of times) saw me at my house (this has been 6 or 7 years ago) and the car was in the driveway and he told me I needed to put my "real" plates on the car...I didn't of course. Since then I have been pulled over more than a few times in that car... either for speeding or NO FRONT PLATE and in all cases the officer either asked about the rear plate or I mentioned that I have the "REAL" plates in the back seat right here... every time the officer said, "I don't care." Literally! In one case he then went on to write me a ticket for no plate at all on the front of the car!

I like it so much I did it again though:

BTW, you can order these plates from Griot's Garage or go straight to the source (germanplates.com) and save $15 or so! They have ALL SORTS of options too! Really cool stuff... oh, I do have a front plate on BLUE82 (plate for that car is 82BLU). Here you go:

Well..I suppose...if its the RIGHT digits on the plate, and the RIGHT year/month stickers...

..and you keep the 'real' ones with you...

Whats the technical issue then? The data is all there, and correct as registered...

Joe the painted wing looks great!

On some cars I like the black bumperettes, like my Zyclamrot S4. On the Turquoise Metallic car, not so much.

Thanks Dan,

Its been 5 months now and the paint job still looks as good as the day I brought the wing home from the paint shop.
