Seal Rings in PET
In PET, I see the seal rings for a fuel pump are denoted as "A 12x16".
Does this mean the OD is 16 mm and the ID 12 mm? Does "A" mean the material is aluminum?
Do local auto parts stores (like say a Carquest that supplies repair shops) typically stock these things?

Hi Tom,
The seal ring denoted with an A is aluminium.
However the seals on the fuel pump are copper. When that part number is received from Porsche it is copper. I suspect it is one of the many mistakes in PET.
Correct on the size and you may be able to get them locally. Just get copper.
