Clear- coat. Repairable ?
My car has been sitting (undriven) outside exposed to the elements for quite some time. Time to get it useful again.
The Clear-Coat has peeled in 2 places; on on the roof and on the B pillar.
Both are less than 2 x 1 inch .
Can it be repaired without having to respray the entire Car?
It is not the original paint either.
Thankyou.

Sure it can but it might be hard to match. Will also have to blend.
I would wetsand the area myself and get it ready for paint. If you know the color buy the paint yourself and ask a body shop guy to spray it, should cost next to nothing.
Or do the prep yourself, buy the products and pay someone a 200 to spray the whole car!

I'm not 100% sure but I think that a good painter can blend the clear and polish everything without any - or almost any trace.
That way you would only need to work around the damaged area.
Good luck.

Sounds a little large, but you could try langka. I've heard good things about them, but never used them myself.

Also, I think you might as well just respray the whole clear coat. How long will it be before another spot starts to peel and flake, and then you are back to square one. Putting a fresh coat will give you some more peace of mind. Just my $0.02
