It's in really good shape. I've got before and after pics. First pic is before. I washed and waxed her today. She cleans up really good. By the way, Hi, I'm new here.

Very nice! I hope you got a good deal. Looks like a nice car! We need some interior and engine shots!
BTW, welcome to the group! Lots of GREAT info and people here!

Great car, I've been following / instigating this on the other forum. (James, this was a very good buy I think of an original car).
That car never showed-up on the classifieds I searched. You really did well.
Don't forget to change those fuel lines, with great care, before you drive much.
Welcome to another 928 brother!

It's got a few electrical bugs in the interior that I'm slowly fixing. It runs pretty strong now that I've got a bottle of Amsoil Performance Improver in the tank. That's really brought her back to life.
According to the PO, the car was garaged for 28 years. I'm not sure that is true, though, because the hatch carpet is faded, and the dash leather is pulled away from the defroster vent.
Oh well, it's still in great shape for a 28 year old. Dudes on another 928 forum keep telling me to stop bitching about the little stuff that's wrong with it, and be happy I can actually drive it. I love to drive it. Sometimes I fiend for a drive like a cigarette.
Here's some shots of the engine and interior.

He advertised (and still is) in the Virginian Pilot with no photos. I think his wife was making him sell it, so he put zero effort into getting it out there.
How much cash are we talking for new lines?

Less than $100, I think. Couple are hard to get to, but this is pretty important to do and do right.
You would need injector O-rings, too, to reseat them. Each injector has a 50mm long hose on the pressure side that needs replacing.
Original paint?

I presume it is original paint. There are no receipts for refinishing. And there are blemishes everywhere. It's a twenty-foot finish.
