I went to help a fellow 928er today, Shrkbhyt who is in a race to get his 928 running before SITM.

We meet at his secret stash location and I am impressed with the quality of the work that is being done there.

I am going to let the pictures speak for them self.

I will say that one of these was built by hand using just a handful of original parts, he even had the forged parts made at great expense.
I forgot to take pictures of the raw pieces, but I will get them next time I am there.

I do not have to guess, anybody that can build a P40 fuselage is cool, and the airplanes are cool, the only uncool thing is folks that at old airplanes.

Old airplanes are cool.

Most of my neighbors have planes in their garages...what is wrong w/ your 'hood! (I live in a fly in fly out 'hood! LOL!)

I think he needs a few more projects though, clearly there is not enough in there for him to play with! Ha Ha!
