Default '86.5 928 S 5-Speed on Craigslist...

This just popped up last night... I've been looking for a low mileage GT, but this one had significantly low mileage and caught my eye... Going to see if I can get some additional pictures from the current owner... So... Is this an S or and S2?

He has been trying to sell that car at that price for a long time, couple of yrs. The price has gone up.

I just ran the VIN on 928Registry, and it says it came with a 4.8L not a 5.0L?

That's a typo. I wouldn't worry.

purely awesome. THIS is the best 928 ever made. It's even my favorite color.

It does look sweet. I doubt if they have the maintenance history being a dealer and all.

That car is awesome! Great color combo, low miles, 5spd! I don't think the price (at $13k) is OVERLY optimistic but I guess it is or they would have sold it already! Kind of comes down to what deferred maintenance needs to be done I guess. At $13k I would expect the car to be READY TO ROLL with NOTHING needed!

It's worth it. They'd take $11.5 I bet. Throw a water pump and whatever little b.s. it needs and roll it! After having 5 86.5's and moving into this '90 GT, I sure do miss the simplicity of the earlier car. I just spent 3 months and about 30 hours chasing a stupid electrical gremlin.

86.5 5spds are very nice cars - and this car in particular is well worth 12k.

Very nice car, bidding is slow though. Maintainance history will be key to the actual value. It can skew the value by lots of $k. PPI and maintainance history would be a requirement before bidding.

I do like to see good cars sell well; a rising tide floats similar boats.

Looks like the dealer has a bad reputation,
