I've had an idea for a while and was wondering if someone else would be able to do it.

I can never see the fan speed number on the climate control panel. I was thinking the number window could be replaced with a LED number and hooked up to a pot so the number changed with the position of the dial.

Anyone familiar with a way to cut the plastic and someone else know how the circuit could be designed?

I'm assuming the parts would be pretty cheap.
