We need more information if you want help:
It won't start, but does it turn over?
Can you turn the engine over by hand or is it locked up?
Is it a 5-speed or auto?
Do you have voltage at the starter?
Have you cleaned the grounds?
With the jump, exactly what dash lights come on?
How long ago since it did run?

first go to 928gt.com and read Wally tips for cleaning the grounds, This is on page 2 under tips and links.
Then make sure to check the hot post wires and the 14 pin connector above it for corroded wires and shedding insulation then clean all of the fuses with an eraser also make sure you have correct relays and fuses in the right positions. Fuse relay chart is on page 2 under tips and links print one off for the car

It could be that the heavy duty cable that runs from the battery positive terminal underneath the car up to the front jump post is bad. That happened on my car many years ago and had it replaced. The symptoms were intermittent or no voltage anywhere. Sounds like something you are experiencing.

Being brief when asking for help is not a virtue...
If I am interpreting the tiny bits of info that we are getting, you have a 1981 RoW automatic with a non-functioning starter.
Possible problems include:
- Corrosion and faulty contact in the 14-terminal connector near the jump start terminal on the right fender panel.
- Faulty connection in a main battery cable or ground.
- Faulty or maladjusted neutral safety start switch.
- Faulty start relay.
- Faulty ignition switch.
- Faulty starter, possibly worn brushes.
There are other possibilities, but these are the most common.
When you turn the ignition switch to the start position, the starter relay in the Central Electric Panel should click, the starter solenoid should clack, and the starter should turn. You task is to find where this string of events stops.
