Default Disc rotors ??

When doing my brake fluid change today, I noticed that my front rotors looks funny... like uneven wear !!

Rear are normal.

I have a set of Pagid pad installed. Thickness is at 30.9 mm (WSM = wear limits at 30 mm - 32 mm when new)

The front squeal when applying light pressure. No vibration.

Is it time to install new ones ?

Luc............the pics show substantial grooving............how do they feel when you rub a thumb nail over them.

I replaced the front rotors on my 88 S4..............Zimmerman cast in hole with new PBR ceramic pads.........work very well.

At a minimum, those should be turned if in spec. What do the pads look like? Sometimes the pad can break apart leaving an uneven surface leading to hotspots.

Edit: Oh... paint those rusty hats while you're at it.

I would consider investing in new rotors and pads , maybe repainting the calipers . VHT makes nice caliper paint for yourcalipers and rotors ect. just don't let your wife know you used HER oven to dry the paint ! And especialy show pictures on this forum .
