Default fan switch and low volts

i have always noticed the volt meter on occasion drop to 12 volts. and the idle will drop and sometimes the car will stall .
today while using the ac i have noticed the drop falls when i turn on and gets worse when i increase fan speed .
headlights , ac itself and all other accessories do not make such a huge drop .
the oil gauge will start to dance as soon as the volts hits 12.
battery does not die starts no problem .
what should i be looking at or is the fan such a amp draw my alternator just can not handle it ?

any ideas what i should be tackling first?

Have your alternator tested. Most auto parts stores wil do a free "stress test" on the battery and alternator.

i ran it to the auto zone the alt was fine they said at 13.57
and the battery was also fine .
so on the way back i ran everything i could again and it stalled out in the driveway . i am wondering if my idle at 635 rpm may be to low.
so i turned the adjustment on the tb screw one rotation counter clock wise .
hopefully it will work.

Yes too low idle. Try about 750 The fans have a pretty good amp draw. If everything else checks out, look at fan relay and all connections to fan.
