Black Shoe polish also works.

Mothers Back to Black worked really, really well with me. I couldn't believe how perfect I got it to look, and it wasn't just that product alone.

I rubbed it on with 0000 steel wool. Scrubbed the bejesus out of my then aging, light rear spoiler. The ultra fine steel wool took off just a teensy bit of old, sun-faded material, but nothing noticeable. The plastics texture didn't change in the least bit.

Really, really impressed with my results. It still looks great, months later too. Hope this helps.

I use Griots Vinyl/Rubber but any good Vinyl/Rubber product will work well including the Mothers, Meguiars and several others.

The back to black does work well and I was a long time believer in that product, but I find it doesn't last very long requiring many re-applications. Then close friend of mine (also a 928 owner) spoged up my spoiler with Armor All Tire Gel.

I have long avoided Armor All for a number of reasons, and was about to say something, but it was too late so I shut my mouth. But I have to say, this product lasts alomost 3 months before it needs a little touch up here and there. It's easy to over apply it, so you may need to go back over it with a rag to remove any excess.

Back to Black always worked well for me, and held up pretty well too. Also works on the mirror surrounds and the other black bits on the outside of the car.
