Link from the online magazine Slate...
See? Driving a 928 is NOT self-indulgent; driving a 928 is NOT too expensive; driving a 928 SAVES THE PLANET. Somehow I just knew this all along.
I realize that the solution proposed in the article is a Washington DC thing but three cheers for clear thinking. Many - no, no ALL - other public transportation enthusiasts are in the left lane at 47 mph on beautiful sunny days in their holier-than-thou Priuses...
Enjoy!

Yes, I totally agree with this article... Because you have to think of both what went into building a Prius (one of the biggest eyesores on the road) and that the electricity comes from somewhere, and usually it's a dirty source (coal). So unless you're fueling your Prius with electricity from your own solar panels, I think the benefit is moot. Did I mention how damn ugly those things are? Every time I see one I feel like slapping it across its face, it's really too ugly to exist.
