Default Piece between recirc box and CE supports

There's a metal strip that fastens in under the front underside of the recirculation box. The vertical supports for the CE panel also fasten to this strip.

The strip has a right-angle edge and a ~45º angle edge. Which goes toward the front of the car? PET is little help—shows only one bend (~45º), toward the rear of the car, so I'm guessing the 90º edge goes toward the front, but I might as well be sure.

Thanks.

Is it possible to see with everything installed? I am in the garage and can take a pic if it will help

I believe so. Look at the top of the inside of the firewall above the CE Panel.

Bingo. It's at the top of the frame. See the stud and the nut nearest the top-right corner? The stud passes through a piece of bent sheetmetal, which is also visible. It looks like the square angle of the sheetmetal is toward the rear of the car. Can you confirm?

Precisely. Do you see what I mean about the 45º angle being toward the firewall, and the 90º angle being toward the passenger seat?

Just looked again and yes that is right...90 toward the BACK and 45 toward the firewall or front.
