?: X-Pipe install on 89
Just picked up my 89 S4 auto fra winter storage 
Last year i bougth a X-pipe, but befor i install i have a question.
What am i supposed to do with the small pipe ? i have already deleted the air pump, if thats any help.

If you've deleted the air pump, then just unbolt and remove the whole diverter valve above that pipe - and take the pipe out with it. its held on by a couple of M8 bolts which can be reached without removing any more than the air box.
Don't forget to plug the vacuum line that connects to the airpump diverter valve.
