Default Need help in identifying an oil leak

I have an oil leak at the rear of the motor. it is definitely motor oil. It is dripping down by the starter and the rear oil pan bolts. They both have drips on them. Trying to remove the bell housing to investigate further. Need to remove the rear bolts, so couldn't get any further. Any idea if this is coming from the rear engine seal or oil pan? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is it oily higher up the rear side of the engine? If not, then it's probably the rear main crank seal.

Oil migrates down from the valve covers, the rear cam seals, the oil pan gasket or the rear main seal. You can reach around the rear of each head, aircleaner box removed, and see if your white glove comes back oily. If so, the covers come off, new cam seals go in front and rear, new seals on the covers, reassemble. There's a WYAIT list that includes painting, the oil vent hose connection seals, plug well seals, cam chain pads and probably the chains, and lots more if you really want to get it all done at once.

Oil is dripping when the car is parked, not running, would that still be valve cover and rear cam seals ? Thanks.

are the pan bolts loose or have they been tightened recently?? either loose or overtightened will cause a pan gasket leak
