I believe this is the same car, although the year is listed as an 81 on CL. If you look at the pictures from the SA CL posting you can see the same air intake tubing, funky carpets, brown interior, and chrome tail pipe. It started out at $4K, then dropped to $2K OBO pretty quick. I would guess it is a basket case, but I am willing to go look at it if anyone is seriously interested.

I don't think that is fair, there is no picture of engine or undercarriage, so you have no way to judge. He is honest about the interior. It sounds like he isn't expecting more than $2K, so 1,500 takes it? I hope someone saves this car.

I just found one on ebay that the guy had listed under 'Salvage"... the title is CLEAN, he just couldn't keep it running - I bought it for $1800. '79 5 speed...

CI$, when it doesn't run right you check fuel pressures and replace things until its fixed, usually all the main items, fuel dist, wur, etc.
