Default Unkown Vacuum Components

I am in the process of replacing my vacuum hoses with a silicone kit and ran across a few components I have questions about.

Is this one for the A/C? One of the wires (light brown one) is disconnected. I thought it had something to do with increasing idle when the A/C is on.

On this one, What is the little vacuum valve? I see that the other side goes out the fender to the carbon canister. I removed the canister and the line was already cut. Can I delete this valve all together?

Thanks!

the first picture shows the idle kick up for the AC system the brown wire is the ground. the other wire should be hot when the AC is turned on

The second picture is the purge valve for the charcoal canister, if you removed the canister then this wont do much , I would plug the vacuum line at the throttle body
