If you swing the 'spring clip' back, then wiggle the pads out (on my 86 the pads are square and have 2 holes in the top) you can use this tool to push the caliper pistons back in without removing the caliper.
I got this for the Rx7 of mine. Same setup with the 4 piston brakes.

To note, once the pistons have been retracted slightly the pad should slid in and out of the caliper smoothly without binding.
Anti-sieze is needed between the edge of the pad backing plate and the stainless guides on the caliper.

That's a fancy tool.
I'll use a big screwdriver. Jam it in between the rotor and the pad and work it in so the pads force the pistons back. Might take some persuasion to get the tool inserted.
Thanks for the tip, guys! Is there a reason for anti-seize as opposed to brake grease?
